I managed to shave a good five shots off my regular score as of late, and the fantastic thing about it is that I altered nothing about my physical game but only my perspective towards the round. After having a hard time for a couple of months now shooting between 90 and 95 and hitting a serious plateau I was growing seriously irritated simply because no matter what I attempted to change about my game I simply just could not go lower. I even believed learning golf was so tough until I wanted to gave up.

After shooting a score similar to this for close to the fifth time I was sitting down thinking about the round and I learned something so straightforward but I had never came across the thought before, that I could simply manage the round to cut out the double bogies. It was the most basic thing and still I had never thought about it, the challenge was that facing demanding shots around the course I would start to imagine like Tiger Woods and attempt to put the ball three feet from the hole. That is the golf tips which I want to share here.

My concept was that if this worked well once out of ten it would look exceptional and that would make all the following duffs worth it. Anyway now that I am tired of shooting nineties I decided that all the Tiger shots would have to take a back seat and I am going to start playing wisely.

All I had to do was leave my ego in the bag and planning a 10-15 meters putt for birdie, in this way the worst I could do is a bogey. If I had tried to play the flop shot I would have turned out in the bunker, be blessed to get out within 15 meters of the hole and at the best get a double leaving the whole ready to strike my next drive. By playing safe and maintaining my cool I would save a minimum of one shot possibly two and leave the whole feeling average to good about playing the next hole.
